crazy may weekend

Posted on: Wednesday, May 26th, 2010 in: announcements, anything under the sun, express highlights, rom

so yes, meoworks had 2 weddings back-to-back, on 22nd & 23rd of may. and our favorite videographer flo had happily fallen sick a few days before. might i first say that for someone with a running fever, a nose that wouldn’t stop leaking AND a head that was throbbing from overdose of panadol (seriously flo, nobody takes THAT much panadol), flo could still shoot as per normal. very impressive. (ya, trying to lap on praises cos i’ve been in her bad books lately, i’m thinking it’s the fever/cold thus she’s cranky. worth a shot anyway)

so on 22nd of may, we shot for Justin & Denise, with Tristan from Tri-angles and the girls from Spellbound Weddings Beautiful simple wedding at a Lutheran church & dinner at Marina Bay Sands - one of the hardest-to-find places, seriously. Yes yes, note to all other videographers/photographers, the AV booth has issues, thus turning our express highlights video into a stop-motion multiple-pauses i don’t know what you call it. Apart from that one problem, everything else was awesome. Great decor, sweet couple & flo-who-keeps-blowing-her-nose. None of Justin’s friends know him as Justin, (they call him Boon Pin) so I overheard “i was driving the wedding planner and she kept saying justin justin, then i asked who’s justin? they said he’s the groom!” and they proceeded to mock and laugh at poor Boon Pin who blushed and ignored them. -laughs. yes Boon Pin is extremely shy.

so we went back for our 4-hour sleep before getting up on sunday 23rd may for Weiliang & Fengyi’s wedding. When we first met them, they told us “refer to us as weiliang and fengyi okay? cos that’s what our friends know us as, nobody knows who is william & grace.” i don’t know what’s up with the couples and their names this weekend…. so anyway, it was a crazy crazy day. rushed home after gatecrashing to take a short nap + edit, then went to goodwood park hotel (our fav hotel because the AV people never mess anything up and the banquet manager is wonderful) to shoot their ROM ceremony before including it into the express highlights to be played later. got everything out by 915pm and was completely exhausted but wide-awake. it was worth it because we got to see their entourage dance in to black eyed peas’ “i’ve got a feeling” and we got to hear weiliang sing on stage to fengyi. she cried, obviously, and it was possibly the best moment of the night. p/s i cried too but nobody saw cos i was busy hiding away from 6 different cameras, yes, they had William Chua , Livestudios and Flo + Sophia (in case anyone is wondering, sophia is caleb’s cousin and yes she has started shooting too).

so yes, we love couples who make us cry. because this is why lack-of-sleep-arms-aching-brain-dying (me), mad-rushing-can’t-think-straight-but-can-shoot-even-when-sick (flo) is so worth it. so how was your weekend? :)

love,
incoherent carrie
p/s: sorry for the ranting.

1st wedding of 2010! - Teresa & Andy

Posted on: Saturday, January 9th, 2010 in: express highlights

so today flo & caleb went to shoot for Teresa & Andy while i slept in and waited for tapes to do their express highlights. had spent the whole of yesterday searching for the right song for them - they requested for jazz but we knew that a slow jazz wouldn’t fit, neither would big band. so it took us hours before we came up with the right one.

for the longest time, i had forgotten what it was like to edit express highlights for 2 videographers. almost fainted when i realized i had 4 tapes to capture (4 hrs mind you!). have been spoilt rotten by flo (since she mainly shoots alone and 1 flo = 10 videographers). but it worked out fine and had time for a nice glass of orange juice at beaufort sentosa while watching flo shoot dinner.

so teresa & andy had 34 groomsmen & bridesmaids in total - 12 for andy and 22 for teresa. can you imagine the madness of gatecrashing? but the best part was when teresa’s mother and her friends joined in - holding up x factor-style cards with huge crosses and ticks. so funny!
church was armenian - very small but pretty.

so yes, very enjoyable wedding. both flo & caleb had fun shooting (with nathan wu and rachel from white weddings and i had the best time editing.

great start to the year!
will be putting up their express highlights shortly! (ask for password please - email carrie@meoworks.com.sg)

6th dec 09 (post II)

Posted on: Monday, December 7th, 2009 in: announcements, express highlights

so yes, as flo has proclaimed in her post earlier, due to the massive amounts of weddings on the 6th of Dec 09, we had already arranged for both flo & lestin to shoot. then sufen & daniel’s wedding came along (very last minute, might i add!) and i finally decided to step out of my editing comfort zone to shoot a meoworks’ associate wedding. (very brave of me so feel free to award me with christmas presents, thanks)

very simple and fun wedding. sufen was quiet most of the time so there was no over-the-top expressions or exaggerated actions. all her bridesmaids were family, so everything was kept close-knitted. gatecrashing was fun, nothing too cheesy - which i appreciate a lot - thank you very much. managed to fly home with a pounding headache and edited their express highlights.

the headache never went away. zzzz.

of course i enjoy editing the most but being at a wedding shoot was very exciting - the adrenaline rush from doing an express highlights doubles up.
so more to come, i hope!

p/s: yes, during phototaking, all the family members at sufen’s were taking turns to shout “xi gua tian bu tian?” (which means, “is the watermelon sweet?”) in a bid to get everyone to smile. after a while, the photographer caught on and started using it too. muahahaha.

so that’s my 6th of Dec, how was yours like?

Louanna & Dennis

Posted on: Friday, July 31st, 2009 in: AD MTV, church ceremony, express highlights

On the 25th of July, Flo’s birthday, instead of doing the annual hire-a-stripper/take-elephant-rides, we shot for Louanna & Dennis’ wedding.

If you’re wondering why their names sound so familiar, it’s because they’re celebrities who have outdoor jacuzzis in their suite. (Yes i’m jealous, so what?) Actually, no, it’s because they were the very same people who housed, fed and did our laundry for us when we visited Australia.

When we first met Louanna, we knew for sure she was on-the-go, very efficient, she gets things done and she’s extremely meticulous and organized. But most importantly, she gets us. (Ya, like we’re so difficult to understand) A very enjoyable meeting later, we parted, agreeing that we’ll shamelessly crash at her place in Gold Coast for a week. And that’s when we met Dennis. Well, in short, Dennis loves food, wears ratty tshirts and throws his head back when he laughs. We had fantastic memories of our stay at their place, especially this: mountains of prawns which we couldn’t finish so Dennis swapped it for a haircut from his neighbor.

Dennis told us, what he loves best about Louanna is her efficiency. I’d like to add on that besides us loving your efficiency, Lou, we also love your food, your motherly-ness, the way you roll your eyes and the way you lovingly look at Dennis when he’s about to say something embarrassing or eat more food. You’re a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. The only thing we might have a little hesitancy towards would be your 20-year old pillow… (don’t ask, people, don’t ask).

And yes, since we’re on this, Dennis, we love you too. Your strange sense of humor, your mumbling incoherence and so on. But no, really, we enjoy you so much because of your willingness to share (stories, food, stories about food) and your kind easy-going openness. You and Louanna make a great pair and we can’t get enough of the energy you guys have together.

Thanks for the company, fun, and friendship. :) One of the many reasons why Flo and I love weddings so much — being able to create friendships, hopefully lasting ones, with the kind of people we enjoy.

And right now, I’m so overwhelmed by the fact that we won’t be seeing Louanna and Dennis for a long time, I can’t write anymore. (-sobs exaggeratedly) We’ll be putting up their Actual Day Express Highlights, and the Pre-wedding video from their photoshoot in Australia, as soon as I become less lazy. I promise! But for now, a photo of the couple from Chris Woon:

Felicia & Ian’s Express Highlights

Posted on: Monday, January 5th, 2009 in: church ceremony, express highlights

Felicia & Ian are a lot of things — they’re lawyers, rich, smart, kind of crazy (maybe only Felicia), have i mentioned rich? oh yeah, and felicia is flo’s longest friend (they’ve known each other since secondary school). and since friends are all obligated to use our services or we’ll not attend their weddings (kidding, don’t worry), flo had been kancheong about fel’s express highlights a longggggg time ago, way before i even knew what kancheong was.

so came the end of dec & then i realised how horribly close we were to fel’s wedding date. actually, everyone was, friends came from msia, uk and godknowswhere in preparation for the big date & it was quite mad. (ask flo, nicely so you won’t get yelled at, how many times she has been to the airport for the last one week) but since we cats love mad rushes, we happily became part of it & promptly got into everyone’s way (especially fel’s bro, haohao, who trashed us at chess about 4 times but that’s another story to tell..)

the concept of this video was thought up long ago (ya we’re concept cats) & flo chose the song.. which also means that if you trust us enough, we’re actually born musicians too (kidding).

so it was great, hanging out with flo’s friends, livestudios was there so we took crazy photos, kelvin koh did the photos, and there were trees and flowers (courtesy of heaven’s gift) and all sorts of things on our tables — which means, we had absolutely no space to eat our food (st regis serves really good food by the way). so, it was grand, very emotional and everyone looked gorgeous. i bet flo felt completely out of place sitting at a table, and not the one holding a camera. :D but we had melvin (redhatmedia) & chris woon

covering for us that night so we could enjoy our dinner.

so i collected the tapes at church, came back & started editing but i think the pressure must have surmounted so when flo came back after shooting lunch, i burst into tears and thought that was it, i was going to be terrible.. but you have to see for yourself.

pp/s: st regis has a ridiculously old dvd player. -.-
p/s: i’m sure flo will have a lot to add, so please be nice & read whatever she has to say okay?

(flo you can write your story here)

there r currently too many thoughts swirling around in my head to make this a coherent post. especially since Fel’s the 1st of my good friends to get married in 2009.

whenever we (Shey, Ha and CL included) meet, we would always bring along our current partners. so it came as a surprise when Fel told us that she was going to marry Ian, a guy, whom we had never met b4 as he was working in London then. so needless to say, we were unable to suss out what sort of man/marriage our friend was getting herself into. but after listening to Ian’s moving speech which was made during dinner, I realised that Fel’s one lucky girl. :) (you’ll have to watch the completed mtv for ian’s speech as i’m not gonna paraphrase what he said.)

on the 3rd, everyone was a little out of sorts. Shey, Ha and CL seemed to be doing their darnest best to get out of Fel’s way. It was like being in the same room with Fel was a big NO-NO. (yes, I had tried getting them to talk to Fel so that I may capture more expressive shots. and yes, I’m work focused lidat.) Shey claimed that her subdue-ness was due to a serious bout of diarrhoea but i secretly suspect that she was trying her best to get a grip on her emotions. it was only when dinner ended (at 1am) did Shey and CL let their emotions go (maybe the alcohol had a part to play too). CL was sobbing on the cab home. And as for me…. -grin.

i guess, doing Fel’s video’s the best thing i had ever done for her.
i mean i had been a horrible housemate, refusing to cook and clean up, hibernating in my really messy room unless i was needed for dinner.
it’s a wonder fel managed to tolerate me.

oops, slight interruption from miss shey -

tell you something
i watch your dvd when i got home on sunday
i was crying when i watched it

yup, we made a copy of the express highlights for all of them b4 they fly back to their respective countries.
let’s hope that when we next meet, we’re on a junk cruising around halong bay. :)

Jingli & Christopher’s Express Highlights

Posted on: Monday, January 5th, 2009 in: express highlights

my apologies for their express highlights being posted up so late but december is the month of madness and we definitely had all the fun we could.

no gatecrashing once again, but there was a photoshoot with joho so that was fun (not like i attended it, those who know us by now should know that flo shoots and i edit so when i say ‘fun’ i mean the editing ok?)

dinner was at tanglin so that was kind of a nice change. one of the bridesmaid & one of the groom’s men sang ‘a whole new world’ (yes the disney aladdin one) as a surprise for them & there were quite a few speeches, mostly to make fun of chris & to remind us how much jingli loves to buy shoes. :)

the song chosen by the couple BUT they did not play the express highlights during the dinner. -.- it’s a long story & if you’re interested in knowing why the couple had no time during the dinner for our video… go ask them.

so maybe you guys are seeing it before those at the dinner did. waha.

Chuan Fu & Wei Ping’s Express Highlights

Posted on: Monday, December 22nd, 2008 in: express highlights, interviews

Wei Ping + Chuan Fu = Ping An Shi Fu

thought that was brilliant (though it took me awhile to figure out that ‘Ping An Si Fu’ was derived from both their names.)

anyway, below’s one of our rare videos that is actually more family-centered (there r more footage of their family than the couple themselves.) and I feel that it actually makes the documentation of their day more complete as I have always felt that a marriage isn’t just a union of 2 people but of 2 families.

all in all, it was a wonderful sunday.

ps: enjoy yourselves in italy and switzerland. :)

-flo

an express highlights without gatecrashing. i was thinking… tough.

but, us cats at meoworks like to create new concepts, so we decided to play with the song the couple wanted (chose a different version even though Chuan Fu had mentioned wanting the original — mind you, we had no idea who the original singer was because we grew up in the 90’s mah) and we’re actually quite pleased with the outcome, and so were they!

Wei Ping has the hugest family possible. and every single aunt/cousin/uncle/more aunts were involved in the wedding, in buying the rings, etc. a huge family with a lot of love and it was nice to see everyone in the family being indulgent, showering all their attention on Wei Ping. She was genuinely happy to have everyone with her too.

so here it is, their express highlights, enjoy!

Teck Chin & Iris Express Highlights

Posted on: Friday, December 12th, 2008 in: express highlights

fantastic. teck chin & iris (and their friends) are collectively mad. first, poor teck chin was made to do the most embarrassing things then he was coerced into going down on his knees and making a speech to iris at her room door - something he was not prepared for THEN he was kind of stumbling drunk throughout dinner. so, during dinner, the crowd was high (on alcohol) and iris was “desperate for people to dance with her” (so the emcee said). it was beautiful and really… happening.

they’ve been together since poly days, a total of 8years and when they had their first dance… the band sang “i’ll make love to you”. wahhaha. and iris, being the bride-high-on-happiness asked us if we chose the song for her express highlights — “eh this song is good, you guys chose it?”… honestly, we could only look at her like this: -_- because SHE had chosen the song and had even sent us the mp3. -_-

anyway, they looked gorgeous tonight, had lots of fun & everyone was happy.. so i shall be nice and let you share some of their joy. :) here’s the video. enjoy!

Elvenia & Alex’s Express Highlights

Posted on: Monday, December 8th, 2008 in: express highlights

So december is the month for weddings (and i really mean The Month okay?). we shot (together with Melvin from redhatmedia) for Elvenia & Alex on the 5th of Dec. it was fun, really fun (i always love express highlights because you get instant adrenaline rushes, instant gratification, instant fun). they chose ‘always be my baby’ and i’m glad we got to use david cook’s version (which is so much cooler than mariah carey’s - sorry, bias like that) AND i’ve heard this is actually a break-up song… i mean, the lyrics seem to suggest so right? but couples seem to like it (debbie & alvin chose it for their express highlights on the 7th as well - it was done by melvin so i got to watch it during the dinner and no i did not spend hours plucking my eyebrows OR shaving my moustache, what is wrong with you flo?).

anyway, enough rubbish. enjoy alex’s singing :) his brothers were really supportive although they kept insisting that they’d rather be jiemeis than bros throughout the entire gatecrashing. and during dinner, the brothers’ table was the rowdiest, having the most fun, although i suspect alex drank all the alcohol by himself… mtv will be up soon when it’s done (tons of edits to complete this month so i believe we’ll finally go on holiday only in feb, ya flo?)

p/s: flo wants me to add that the world is too small, it really is though. i realized this when debbie’s (my sec sch friend) husband alvin actually shares redhatmedia’s office. and during elvenia & alex’s wedding, we realised that eileen (rhm) and flo had actually shot for elvenia’s brother’s wedding while they were with the previous company. (have i lost you somewhere in the ranting yet?) i mean how many people are there really in sg? everyone knows someone else. oh maybe this is a sign that i’m partially related to king of thai.. (he was having his 80th bday celebration in the next banquet hall at shangri la while we were at elvenia/alex’s wedding)

there you go:

Sok Ying & Aloysius Express Highlights

Posted on: Saturday, November 15th, 2008 in: express highlights

Today we woke up at 5am to shoot for Sok Ying & Aloysius …

AND to see the torture the brothers were put through — tearing hair off their legs with masking tape (not wax strips ok?), aloysius drinking a glass of maple syrup MIXED WITH SALIVA (from himself & bros), boys doing pushups while eating suan tian ku la bread AND then girls sitting on aloysius while he pumped pushups… all because he couldn’t spell hippopotamus..

hilarious day although i was busy trying to hide myself from both flo’s and lestin’s cam, had fun chatting with the aunties, father, mom, other grandmas/gu-mas, etc. i love cantonese families!

express highlights was even more fun to do when i saw what flo had shot (couldn’t see as i was hiding mah)… sisters got the price they wanted even though aloysius already bought & paid for their dresses and the brothers were so gung-ho about ALL the games.. even the stripping of clothes/dress up in noodle-seller aprons. :D

and then sok ying’s gu-ma said (in cantonese) “wah $899? in our time i was snatched away for only $9.99.. (pause) i’m so cheap!” wahahahahahhaahah

ANYWAY due to bandwidth reasons, says flo the meoworks website manager (oh and i’m repeating the same joke again in case some of u didnt get it the 1st time round), we’ll not be putting up the express highlights video BUT if you wish to watch it, you can email carrie@meoworks.com.sg

have a lovely november!

p/s: today i read in the papers on how to do a budget wedding in our times of recession… nothing on video budgeting though.. i guess that means we’re still going strong! :)

Jeanette & Jieguang ExH

Posted on: Sunday, September 7th, 2008 in: express highlights

Flo’s cousin, Jeanette, got married yesterday so we went and shot. The ExH was fun to do - only because the groom and brothers were soooooo willing to eat/drink whatever the jiemeis gave them. I had fun!

while preparing for Q&A session:
one of the jiemeis: but this is not the answer! he won’t get it!
all the other jiemeis: that’s the whole point what!

and poor jeanette had no idea her husband was to be put through so much..

here you go. :) enjoy!
(video removed due to bandwidth constraints. please contact carrie@meoworks.com.sg to watch the video)
Shot by Flo. Edited by Carrie

p/s: it was funny when flo had to go take family photos with the bride and groom. she was the most reluctant family member. wahahah.

flo’s comments: it’s not that i was reluctant to take the photos. it’s just that JG was overly eager to have me in his pics. i mean, i barely knew that guy and for all i know, he might be a ….. (censored)

so, jeanette’s the first in our family to get hitched though i had never expected her to be. and she got herself a gd catch. -grin

6th sept was my first time meeting JG and the moment he stepped out of the car in his oversized geeky specs (never expected jeanette to choose a hubby with a better sense of fashion than her. he actually got the skinny ties from topman, london. the ties would be another story for another time), i liked him already.

if i could sum up their relationship, it would be this…..

there they were, on stage, JG was emotionally professing his love for that one special woman (i find it quite strange to think of jeanette as a woman. but.. oh well…) in his life, she was half rolling her eyes heavenwards. and when he came towards her for a hug, she responded by grungingly wrapping her arms around him with her eyes still focusing on that certain spot on the ceiling.

-laughs

they would definitely have lots of fun and love in their years ahead. :)

and to JG, ‘yo cousin!’

Cheryl and Guan - ‘Our House’

I’ll light the fire
You place the flowers in the vase
That you bought today

Staring at the fire
For hours and hours
While I listen to you
Play your love songs
All night long for me
Only for me

Come to me now
And rest your head for
just five minutes
Everything is done
Such a cosy room
The windows are illuminated
By the evening
sunshine through them
Fiery gems for you
Only for you

Our house is a very,
very, very fine house
With two cats in the yard
Life used to be so hard
Now everything is easy
‘Cause of you
And our la,la,la, la,la, etc.

For their 1st march in, instead of the usual, Guan stood on stage and sang ‘Our House’. He then changed the lyrics to ‘with 2 kids in the yard‘ n i thought that was the sweetest thing any man could have said to his wife (n newly acquired kids)

Fennel and Kevin –

Last wedding of the year
but First of many more to come for MEOWorks. :)

Beat and I were at Fennel’s home even b4 she had woken up officially.
(however, the PGR was there an hr earlier, beat that!)
so everyone (MUA, PGR, VGR and jiemeis) had to wait for Fennel to shower and get ready.

But as they all say, the bride’s the queen for the day.

Kevin sure looks and speaks like some ah beng gangster but as the night approaches, he gradually changes into a big old softie.
(i’ve lost count of the no of times he had cried while hugging his friends/relatives)

awwwwwwwww.

Kevin works in Mariott.

n it was interesting to c how the staff ‘ate snake’ n took time off to catch up with Kevin n give him their best wishes.

not only that, some were sneaking peeks at Kevin’s bridal studio photos and sniggering.

Whole bunch of familiar faces yesterday - Joho (and his team - ExpressivelyEric and Michael) and A Little Dream.

Stephen has a lovely and powerful voice. (So, A Little Dream) u had better watch out. -winks)
it is so powerful that even the jiemeis could hear his declaration of love for Rachel from the ELEVENTH story.
he didn’t even need his xiongdis to help him out.

n then his voice turned all husky as he belted out
‘you are my sunshine,
my only sunshine.

are you my sunshine dear?’

million thanks to stephen n rachel who got us a day room so that i may edit comfortably.

the beds were extremelysuperlyduperly tempting. it was with much self control and will power that i had managed to extract myself out of the bed. and then i walked into the bathroom and there was this huge bathtub complete with a pillow to rest your head on. almost wanted to shift my macbook into the bathtub so that i may edit amongst the bubbles and froth while enjoying the gorgeous view.

(video removed due to bandwidth constraints. pls email flo@meoworks.com.sg should you wish to watch their video. sorry about the inconvenience caused.)

I started out at Vivian’s home while Eileen headed over to Mervyn’s.
Edited by Flo.Really nice couple.
Kept reassuring us that everything’s fine, that we can take our time and kept making sure that we’re good.

WAH. WHERE ON EARTH CAN WE FIND ANOTHER SUCH COUPLE?

Shooting and editing for the express highlights is really super draining.
I wonder how do wedding videographers do it on a daily basis.

I even fell zzz during the reception for dinner.
-sheepish grin.

thank goodness Beat and Eileen were there to cover the entire dinner’s happenings.

and Mervyn, pls lah…….. for your own good….

do memorise Vivian’s IC no, mobile no and the date and venue of where you had proposed to her.

(I would post her IC and mobile no here to help you out. But then again, I’m sure you wouldn’t want the entire world to know her numbers right?)

and there’s only so many drinks you can drink as forfeit b4 getting sick of the whole ’suan tian ku la’ concoction.

Kenneth n Shannon- Express Highlights 9th dec 07

Posted on: Tuesday, December 11th, 2007 in: express highlights

a yr ago, on this date, i had shot for vincent and patricia.

(patricia had the most dollike face i’ve ever seen on a bride; big eyes, round face. ‘wawa lian’, that was what the MUA called her)

a yr later, vincent’s gd friend got married and guess who were there to capture their moments?

-grin.

here’s the promised express highlights.

it’s def one of the rare catchy chi songs that’s actually pretty listenable. (okok. i know im super kantang). n it’s even rarer to see a bride forget that she had a videocam trained steadily on her while she mouthed along to the chorus. and it’s def rarest to c a bride so ‘xin teng’ and was asking the sisters to let him in, let him in, let him in. (but the cunning sisters held on a little longer to get one more angbao. way to go girls!)

uncannily, eileen and i chose the exact same song to use for our ExH for 9th dec. it’s ESP man! (or maybe that proves that we came from the same ’sch of wedding videography’ :) however, i’m glad that we’ve come a long way n developed our own style.)

Linda n Dennis - 9th Dec 2007 - Express Highlights

Posted on: Monday, December 10th, 2007 in: express highlights

9th dec was just like 2nd dec with 2 weddings on the same day.

STRESS MAN!

the day started out at 630am at Shannon’s home. They were previously afraid that we were unable to deliver what we had promised as they were afraid that we would be affected by the return spate of events. But viola! Eileen managed to turn things around for them. Cheers for Eileen.

(Watch this space closely for her express highlights. )

Beat and I then left Shannon and Kenneth after gate crashing (Shannon was actually singing along while Kenneth was made to sing their song outside her door. Got it all down on tape, close up somemore!)

We then headed for Linda’s home. Their shoot involved a larger team. We had Brendon, Lestin and David along too. It was me being KS as once again, Linda and Dennis, was another worried couple.

Their gate crashing ended at 3pm and Brendon whisked me off to Ritz Carlton where I had to hurriedly produce a express highlights. By the time i was done capturing veryvery selectively from 3 videographers’ footage, it was 5.15pm. -whistles. Brendon then passed me his footage of their church ceremony at 6pm as they would like to have it included.

Well, we managed to get their DVD burnt out at 8.15pm and this is it.

Dennis and Linda’s wedding was really rara man. Dennis had 15 brothers! Beat that. They were really good and on the ball. (cept for going up to the wrong block. and the irony of it all? they are a bunch of real estate agents.)

During the dinner, Dennis was blindfolded and was made to pick Linda out from the 20 odd girls on stage. He was only allowed to touch their wrists. He found Linda by following an intricate series of motions. He would hold the girl’s wrist, tapped it, pinched it and massaged it gently. (macam like buying fish from the market)

The only girl who responded by flipping her wrist over was Linda.

Opened it up only to read …. ‘ 1st Steps Weddings had been closed down’. 3 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING! Then i hurriedly called James up and read the email to him ‘ If you have any queries, feel free to contact me at 9186 xxxx’ and i immediately called Flo up with the other phone.

-whee!
